Dante fuoco
Actor. Writer. Comedian.

Dante Fuoco is the writer, performer, and producer of the New Orleans hit Transplant, his darkly comic solo show about gentrification and white guilt in the so-called Big Easy. Most recently, a short story of his was named a fiction contest finalist at the Saints + Sinners Festival, and appears in this year's anthology. His writing has been featured in Instant Prose; The Philadelphia Inquirer; and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. A trained comedian, he has performed with a number of improv troupes over the years. Fuoco is a locally and nationally recognized special education teacher, and a proud graduate of Swarthmore College. He lives in New York City.
